Der Sneakprint-Ansatz für perfekte Passform: Passende Leistenform für jeden Fuß
In the current footwear market, customers are expected to fit their feet into the standard shoe sizes available in stores, rather than having shoes tailored to their unique needs. But what happens if your feet are too narrow or too wide, or if you suffer from conditions like hallux valgus or tailor’s bunion? Finding a comfortable yet good-looking pair of shoes becomes a daunting challenge. In this post, we will explain how we plan to revolutionise shoe sizing by breaking free from conventional standards and celebrating the uniqueness of every foot.
Standard Sizes: Differentiating Only by Length
Standard shoe sizes differentiate only by length, even though feet of the same length can have significantly different shapes. The animation below demonstrates the wide variation in feet shapes for the same length.

Sneakprint Last Library and Custom Fit System to find the best matching last for your FEET
Our Sneakprint Last Library offers a variety of last shapes in half sizes, multiple widths, and different toe box areas. We begin by analysing your foot scan measurements, including length and width, as well as ball girth and instep girth for scans obtained through retail scanners. Our algorithm then determines the perfect last for you and directs the factory employees on which one to use for assembling your sneaker. Typically, we add a margin of 1 cm to 1,5 cm to your foot length to ensure a comfortable fit. Since having your shoes a little tighter or looser is often a matter of personal preference, you can always let us know your preferred fit when placing your order.
well-fitting shoes also look better
Beyond the obvious reason of enhanced comfort, a well-fitting shoe also looks better. Properly fitted shoes maintain their shape and structure, contributing to a polished and professional appearance. When the last is matched to the feet, patterns seamlessly align in their designated positions, enhancing the visual harmony of the shoe design.
My fEEt change during the day, when should I take my foot scan best?
By taking your foot scan in the late afternoon or early evening, you can ensure that the measurements account for the natural swelling that occurs throughout the day. This timing helps to guarantee that your sneakers will fit comfortably at all times, providing you with the best possible comfort and support. Take your foot scan on our website today and experience the difference firsthand!
