Frequently asked questions

What distinguishes sneakerprint sneakers from those of the competition?

Unlike other brands that rely on standard sizes, we take a personalized approach. Based on your foot scan, we design custom footbeds, 3D print them, and integrate them into the shoes. We also select a last of the appropriate size and shape to ensure sufficient room inside the shoe for increased comfort.

How do sneakprint footbeds differ from prescription orthotics?

Our Sneakprint footbeds offer a level of customization comparable to the custom-made insoles you'd normally receive from an orthopedic surgeon. We have a certified shoemaker who analyzes your footprints and medical history to ensure a comprehensive understanding of your feet's unique needs.

What sets our footbeds apart is their superior design – they are significantly thicker and feature a lattice structure that allows us to achieve a tailored response to your individual plantar pressure, something not possible with conventional manufacturing methods.

In addition, our footbeds are perfectly adapted to the sole, preventing slipping.

Essentially, Sneakprint footbeds offer an innovative solution that goes beyond the limits of traditional shoe fitting.

Will the shoe last be made specifically for my feet?

While we understand the desire for a completely personalized fit, creating a custom last for each customer would significantly increase the overall cost of our shoes. To strike a balance and offer high-quality shoes at reasonable prices, we currently use lasts in a range of widths, ensuring a comfortable fit for the majority of wearers.

In addition, we are actively working to expand our last shapes to accommodate even the most unique foot profiles. We strive to continuously improve our product range to meet diverse preferences and ensure our customers enjoy both comfort and style.

How does Sneakprint address customers with orthopedic needs?

Our orthotist uses your scan data to design custom-made insoles that provide you with personalized and optimal support. Common corrections such as a custom arch support, heel cup, and metatarsal pad are expertly fitted to improve your overall comfort. The use of a lattice structure in our footbeds further increases the level of support.

How does Sneakprint ensure a perfect fit without meeting customers in person?

Our sneak print kit, along with a detailed questionnaire, helps us gather accurate information about your feet. If needed, customers can schedule a phone consultation with our orthotist to discuss specific concerns and determine if our product is suitable for them.

What does the typical ordering process look like?

After you purchase a sneaker style online, we'll process your order. If you haven't used our sneaker print kit this year, we'll send you one. Once we receive your foot measurements, we'll print the insoles and assemble your sneakers by hand before shipping them to you. After receiving the kit, it typically takes two to five weeks for your sneakers to be manufactured and shipped.

How do I use the sneak print kit?

Our sneak print kit includes a 2D blueprint and a 3D foam box. The blueprint captures your dynamic pressure distribution while walking, and the foam box provides 3D data of your foot shape. Detailed instructions and videos guide you through the process.

Can I submit existing scan data?

You may provide us with existing scans, but we cannot guarantee their accuracy and assume no responsibility for them.

How often should I update my foot scans?

We recommend updating your foot scans annually, as foot shape changes over time.

Can I schedule a phone consultation with your orthotist?

Yes, you can schedule a phone call by sending us an email to info@sneakprint.me or leaving your request via the contact form.

We will ask you a few questions to better understand your needs and prepare for the interview.

I received the sneakers and tried them on, but I'm not sure if they meet my expectations. What should I do?

First of all, it's important to note that even custom-made shoes need some time for the leather to stretch and adjust to your feet. Additionally, the orthopedic adjustments in the footbeds may feel different at first if you're used to standard shoes. We recommend wearing the shoes a few times to allow them to fully adjust to your feet.

If you still experience discomfort or have concerns after this adjustment period, please contact us. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and will work with you to find a suitable solution.

Can I order just the insoles if I don't like the sneakers?

While we're still in the early stages of our journey, rest assured that more models and colorways will be available soon. If you're only interested in our custom insoles, please contact us at info@sneakprint.me or leave a message in the contact form. We'll get back to you promptly and assist you with your order.
